Elon Volunteers!

Elon Volunteers! (EV!) exists to provide all members of the 黑料社区 campus the opportunity to develop an ethic of service by connecting campus and community through service experiences.

EV! is Elon鈥檚 hub for service opportunities on campus, providing opportunities for Elon students to engage in service through regular programs, one-time events, and Alternative Breaks.聽 EV! is student-run and student-led, with approximately 125+ student leaders coordinating a wide variety of programs and opportunities.

Economic Empowerment

  • : Harvest, cook, and deliver food to a local hunger relief organization.

  • : Build houses and work in the Habitat ReStore
    • For additional information about Habitat for Humanity program, click here.
  • : Support weekly food pantry and food distributions

Educational Equity

  • Alamance-Burlington School System Partnerships
    • America Reads (work study position): Tutor at local schools and/or after school programs to improve math and literacy skills
    • : assist with after-school programs and out of classroom activities.
  • : Support programming and activities for the local Latinx community
  • : Tutor and mentor children in an after school program
  • : Participate in music tutoring, mentoring and education through weekly classes and events for local youth
  • :聽Mentor boys and girls ages 9-13 through the Mayco Bigelow Community Center
  • : Facilitate social activities and professional development opportunities with Alamance Community College students who have a disability
  • : Facilitate STEM activities at after school programs

Health and Wellness

  • : Assist with broad range of programs and events that aim to enhance physical and mental health, develop local youth, and make a positive impact on the general well-being in the local community
  • : Work alongside core members who have a disability on garden workdays, special events, and other ongoing activities
  • : Assist Special Olympics athletes during sporting events
  • :聽Volunteer with a local shelter and work with animals
  • :聽Assist with animal care and outdoor projects
  • : Assist with facilitation of music activities for residents at local senior care facilities
  • : Donate blood or volunteer at American Red Cross blood drives

Civic Engagement

  • Elon Votes: Work to increase political engagement and voter registration
  • : Join campus conversations on pressing social issues
